Check your battery

You have to select the charger and adapter that is the right option for your RC battery. If you use a LiPo battery, check how many cells available. You will find it from the battery label.

Plug on your charger

Now use the connector of the charger and plugin it. Some batteries come with a three-pin plug. When you connect it to the power plug, it will receive the input power.

Connect the battery with the charger

Use the correct lead to connect the battery to the charger. Use a red one for the positive plug and a green one for the negative plug, and this balances it. It would be best if you were careful about bare connectors. A bare male connector is dangerous. So, keep yourself protected.

Organize the charging mode

Some chargers can autodetect the battery type when you plug in a battery. Just you have to select the mode with a switch such as store, fast, etc. But some chargers come with more options.

Start charging

After properly configuring the charger mode, tap the start button for a few seconds. Then the charger will do a battery check and ask for the number of battery cells. After detecting it, if all things match correctly, it starts charging. If there is anything wrong, it will ask you to check the adjustment and settings.

Check the output power using wire probes. Check the output voltage. Thus, you will get an idea about the charging session.

Try to add lights

Try to place the battery and your power source far away from each other. It is for safety. Otherwise, any danger can occur from sparking. Then Connect holiday lights between the battery and power source. Thus, you can concern the current flowing.

Connect the battery

Now you have to connect the car battery and power source. Now take the negative clip and connect it to the power source. Correctly complete the negative connection circuit by attaching the negative clip to the battery. Similarly, do it for the positive clip.

Check the setup

Just make sure that you are only trickling power through your setup. After 20 minutes of charging, your battery will get only a few volts. You can use a multimeter to see the progress at the terminals of the battery.
